Rose Vetrano He graduated in architecture and obtained his professional qualification in Palermo. He attended a two-year Master's course on "Recovery and Restoration of Architectural Heritage" in France and it was during this extraordinary experience, between construction sites and artistic laboratories, that he had the opportunity to experiment with the infinite and magical potential of some materials. By manipulating waste materials and discarded materials he discovers a new and fascinating world, that of "recycling".
Versatile and eclectic His interests range, above all, from interior design to fashion design. The creations are inspired by the concept of feeling that is shaped and becomes matter, they are born from an internal stimulus that finds its culmination in the materialization of elements capable of satisfying the mind-body binomial, therefore, physical utility and spiritual well-being that is able to arouse emotions. DAfter a path of research and experimentation he arrives at a new and more mature phase of his artistic training: design emerges from its static nature, dresses the body and becomes movement.
The creations maintain a poetic language that uses forms that are sometimes fluid and other times structured, almost sharp, but with a minimalist essence. ANDthree-dimensional and volumetric effects contribute to the search for a rebellious and futuristic aesthetic. Nature in its many facets is the main source of inspiration and it is often the materials that suggest the shape. Using eco-sustainable materials is a philosophy of life, moreover, in this particular moment in which the signs of environmental suffering are tangible, ethics imposes a responsible attitude on us. The garments are handmade using natural fabrics and manipulation techniques that give each element a singular evocative energy. The production, for a “niche” market, consists of unique pieces or in numbered series according to eco-sustainability criteria to dress a contemporary and alternative woman.
